"I want to do songs that couldn’t be performed by anybody else"

Mika is the stage name of the London-based singer Michael (Mica) Holbrook Penniman. The 29-year-old artist was born in Beirut, Lebanon; only his father is American, while his mother is Lebanese. As Mika's family was forced to leave their town because of the war, they moved to Paris. Later they moved to London; Mika had only 9 years old. In London Mika was oriented towards the music career, as he attended the Lycee Francais Charles de Gaulle, then Westminster School and next the Royal College of Music. Mika dropped out from the Royal College of Music for recording his first album. The artist's public performances started with classical performing in the Royal Opera House, followed by his writing in-flight music for the British Airways.

Mika is better known for his songs:-Grace Kelly- Lollipop- Love Today- Celebrateetc. But also, he is an icon of pop music.
Mika's music is anything but unbearable, either. A self-taught piano virtuoso, gymnastic vocalist and born entertainer, Mika has music in his bones. His four-octave voice, which he knows when to restrain and when to unleash, needs to be heard to be believed, and he uses it to powerful effect on Life.
Across the span of three albums in six years, Mika has consistently made appealingly catchy tunes, both sunny and sharp --smart-- from "Grace Kelly" to "Blame It on the Girls" to "Popular Song", his remake of the big number from the musical Wicked.
As writer and singer Mika turns out to be a role model for everyone who consider her or himselfs a fan.Being called as the new Freddy Mercury, this man has had an impact in many ears and in all countries, being exactly what I want to achieve someday.
